To beat the Australia by an innings three times in the same series is an extraordinary achievement. Just look at the smiles on the faces of people, you can say that we have done something amazing.
There were so many great moments, and when I look back over the month last I see a collage of lot of hard work and memories.
Brisbane now seems so far away, it's ridiculous. But if I were to choose a strong point, I would go probably for descent of Simon Katich Adelaide: it was pretty special.
He was also the second spacewalk in Melbourne where I managed to get rid of Phil Hughes. It was a satisfactory time because I had been batting all morning and most of the previous day.
To be able to cut them off the coast when they went to a single tight - that is the kind of comprehensive cricket players we want to be. With Paul Collingwood's retirement, I will work hard on my medium-pace bowling, because I want to be able to help with a few overs here or there.
Friday, the barmy army were fantastic. In fact, they were great thanks to the entire series. And it is the same when you talk to people at home. It was obviously very cold and snowy, but many people have stayed until the end to watch the games. All my friends were on Facebook, update at 4 pm on what is the score and how excited they are, and what a joy they feel.
These guys are living in England and living in Australia at the same time sleep in the day and look at night. We certainly appreciate the support. This is a feeling nice to have the country behind you so far.
Not that it helped me a lot in this game, I got my first test of duck.
I had it out of the way, I suppose that and let the other guys have a go! Sometimes in cricket: you're only as good as your last sleeves. It just adds satisfaction play equally well in Melbourne. When I contribute here, others accelerated at the plate. It shows the cohesion of the team.
There was lots of fun in the locker room to view Ian Bell and Matt prior to their first ashes of hundreds of notation. Alastair Cook encoches third, puts it in the history books alongside Michael Vaughan and Broady father, Chris. Tours of ash are spoken of forever and its efforts will not be forgotten.
Hundreds change games. Cookie has been leading the way, and I was lucky enough to get two myself. Double for Kevin Pietersen Adelaide was monumental. Two double - hundreds of a series of five-Test is quite something.
When you get a hundred it feels great, but it is not only about satisfying the yourself. You'll need to team operated because it is really big scores put you in a much better position. You also want to keep the opposition out into the field for as long as you can: grind you their bowlers, while giving your own an extra chance to rest.
At the Sydney Cricket Ground, I had on the side of the field for two days and watching everyone else fights. It definitely has me more hungry for tracks. And I'll look forward to having a blow to the white ball for awhile in Canberra. When you pass one-day cricket, it isn't as if you change the core values of your stick. Tinker you just a few things here and there.
I am so pleased with how the tour's gone. I was trying to absorb as much as possible at the SCG, where we stayed in the dressing rooms for a long while taking advantage of our victory. But the game of international cricket does not stop: is the Australian Capital territory, and on Monday, we will have to switch back to our game faces even once.
