Have An Opinion On Any Cricketing Issues-Voice It On A Cricket Forum

All of us have our opinion on almost everything. And if you are passionate about something, then there is no limit to your opinions. Cricket fans are perhaps the most vocal ones about their views and opinions. They have an opinion on almost everything that is happening both on and off the cricket pitch. In fact, this is one healthy trend that suitably reflects public opinion, and likes and dislikes about everything related to the game. Nothing works in isolation and so the views and opinions of fans are crucial for players who play the game of cricket, and also for administrators who run the game.

The web is the hub for such cricket forums. Cricket being a very popular game, there are several sites that cater exclusively to anything related to cricket. The revolution in the information sector has made things really simple for all of us. No matter in which corner of the world we live in, we can see live cricketing action that is taking place anywhere in the world. If by any chance you happen to miss out on the live action on television, then online websites will come to your rescue. There are several online sites that give ball by ball coverage of an ongoing live cricket match.

There is something or the other that is taking place in the cricketing field. It can be anything that you have an opinion on, like team selected for a tour or the combination of the final playing eleven. Well, you can always have your say on any issues about cricket that concerns you. In cricket forum, you can discuss on any topic that is presently being discussed on the forum, or start a new topic that you feel strongly about and want to share your views and options with other people. It is not that you will get to discuss about only cricket related issues on these forums, you can discuss about any other thing that you may feel like doing.

Cricket forum is not the only thing that cricket websites provide for cricket fans like you. You can get to know about all the happenings that are going on in the cricketing world, both on field and off field activities. You can also listen to podcast provided by some of these online cricketing sites and listen to expert comments about any issues related to cricket.

That is not all, in fact you get to select your own team too and see them live in action on a cricket field. This is possible through fantasy cricket. It is an online game where you can select your team from amongst the international players who are playing a certain tournament and see for yourself how they perform. You can win or lose a game of fantasy cricket strictly on the basis of the performances put up by the players you have selected to be a part of your team. So make sure that you select the best players for your team, if you want to win the game of fantasy cricket. There are many things in an online cricket website other than cricket forum.

Travel prone Stuart Broad ready for World Cup onslaught... but are England?

Travel weary? Stuart Broad is set for another sojourn, this time to the sub-continent Photo: GETTY IMAGES

“I’ve got to unpack from Australia and then pack again at some stage,” he says. “If it wasn’t the last minute, I wouldn’t get anything done anyway.”

Welcome to the life of an England cricketer in 2011. Three days at home – which Broad has selflessly spent with his father Chris and sister Gemma promoting their new motor neurone charity, The Broad Appeal – then back on the treadmill.

England embark on a transcontinental trek that could potentially take them 6,500 miles, to nine cities, in three countries, in seven weeks.

At the best of times, that is a lot of minibuses and airport baggage carousels. Coming so soon after an exhausting Ashes tour, it verges, like many of England’s players, on madness.

“I don’t know what time I’m on, to be honest,” Broad said. “I’m quite a good sleeper, so jet lag doesn’t affect me too much. I just sleep all through the day. It’s a pretty hectic schedule that we’ve been through over the past six months, but I’m excited about going to the World Cup. Everyone is.”

Towards the end of the one-day series in Australia, as the injuries began to pile up, an unusually outspoken Andy Flower made clear his disapproval of the schedule. While the adrenalin generated by a World Cup campaign may power England’s players through the first couple of weeks, if things start going against them, they will almost inevitably begin to feel those tired limbs.

In an ideal world, Broad admits, the squad would have been better rested.

“But the schedule’s the way it is. It is very hectic, but that’s part and parcel of being an international cricketer. You’ve just got to crack on and make sure we’re as refreshed as possible.”

Besides, Broad can hardly cry fatigue, given that he will be staying in India for another six weeks after the tournament to play in the IPL.

Of more pressing concern is Broad’s recovery from the abdominal injury that cut short his Ashes series. Despite flying out to Australia to join the one-day squad for the end of the series, he has not played since the Adelaide Test, and not played a one-day game since September. England’s two warm-up games in Fatullah will therefore be crucial in getting him match fit.

“I feel 100 per cent,” he said. “It’s been a bit of a long road back, but I’m feeling strong, feeling good, and hoping to play a full part.”

England’s chances of winning their first World Cup will depend on key players such as Broad lasting the course. The Homeric schedule, though, will not help them. “The only World Cup I’ve been involved in on a full scale was the World Twenty20,” Broad said. “That went fantastically well. The games are packed in and there seemed to be a great balance. The 50-over one does go on for a long time, but as players we just play the cards we’re dealt.”

None the less, Broad believed England could upset the odds and win the tournament. “With the sort of cricket we know we can play, we’ve got a good chance,” he said.

So, can England repeat their success in the Caribbean last year? To borrow the words of Fred Trueman: aye, but whoever does it will be ------ tired.

Tim Bresnan shows he is still worth his place in England side with fine display for Yorkshire

The countdown has begun. With less than two weeks until the Test squad to face Sri Lanka is announced, England have more captains (three) than settled fast-bowling berths (two).

Tim Bresnan began his campaign to claim the third seamer’s slot, and in a tidy eight-over spell, showed he had lost none of his Ashes form.

The rest period granted to England’s bowlers has condensed their early season into a month-long shoot-out, with the Test venue Cardiff as its prize.

The competition is fierce: Chris Tremlett returned last week; Steven Finn has taken 16 wickets this season; Ajmal Shahzad, Chris Woakes and Graham Onions have all made sparkling starts.

Little wonder, then, that Bresnan was busting a slimmed-down gut to get back on the field. He was not scheduled to play his first game until Wednesday, but having travelled to Nottingham with the Yorkshire squad last week, he insisted on featuring on Sunday. He has spent his enforced break redoubling his training, taking on extra gym sessions. He may be leaner than ever, but he is also as hungry as ever for wickets.

“I wanted to have eight overs in competition, rather than going straight into a championship game and having to bowl three spells,” he said. “I enjoyed the break, but last week I wished I was out there. I’m not a very good watcher.”

Taking the new ball as Yorkshire defended 254, Bresnan bowled with the aggression and intelligence we have come to expect. He was a consistent threat, floating in slower yorkers, pinging down searing bouncers.

Bresnan’s first spell reaped the wicket of Robert Key, who top-edged a pull to short midwicket; his second that of Geraint Jones, whose off stump was wrenched out.

Initially, though, it was a former England seamer, Ryan Sidebottom, who stole the show, taking two wickets in two balls to break the back of Kent’s chase. After Sam Northeast had edged behind, Martin van Jaarsveld upper-cut a short ball to David Wainwright at third man. Alex Blake then tried to cut a wide long hop from Adil Rashid and nicked it. Rashid finished with three wickets — despite bowling pretty badly — as Kent subsided tamely.

The foundations for Yorkshire’s win were laid by captain Andrew Gale. He declared his intent by thrashing James Tredwell’s second ball over long on for six and reached his hundred in 105 balls.

Trevor Bailey is remembered for his obdurate batting and as one of England's finest all-rounders

For cricket supporters, it is his obduracy with the bat, for which he acquired the nickname “Barnacle”, that he will best be remembered, especially during the 1953 Ashes series which England won 1-0 to retain the urn after a 17-year hiatus.

While the obituaries will no doubt focus on Lord’s and his vigil with Willie Watson, his four-hour knock at Headingley two games later, and his negative bowling down the leg side there to secure the draw after Australia needed 177 to win on the final afternoon, were even more crucial to the outcome of the series.

With the rubber still level, England won the next Test at the Oval and with it the Ashes.

As Doug Insole, his captain at Essex in the 1950s remembers: “Trevor considered Headingley his finest moment, not least because two changes to the playing conditions were made in its wake.

"His bowling wide of leg stump, with as many fielders behind square on the leg side as he liked, eventually saw the Laws of the game limit the number allowed to two.

“The playing condition surrounding the taking of light was also changed after Jim Laker, put up to it by Trevor, asked the umpires to take a look before lunch on the final day.

"It was blazing sunshine but with Ray Lindwall about to bowl at Jim, who’d just come in, Trevor saw the opportunity to waste some time.

"It worked too and by the time the umpires had consulted and investigated whether there was anything dazzling the batsmen, lunch was taken. After that, light conditions became the sole remit of the umpires.”

Bailey’s methods made him unpopular with Australians though he always considered that a badge of honour. As Insole recalls, “Trevor always played the game hard yet never went beyond the laws. But he was a tough and awkward opponent”.

Something of an iconoclast when he left Cambridge, the young Bailey was both headstrong and opinionated. Some say it cost him the England captaincy in later years, his individualism considered too spiky for Establishment tastes.

By the time he captained Essex, which he did from 1961-66, he had mellowed into what Keith Fletcher reckons was “a good bloke with a great sense of humour”.

Fletcher, a novice back then, used to travel with Bailey on away trips, their journey times varying according to how many drinking stops were made.

“There were no motorways then and Trevor had his regular pubs he’d stop at for half a beer,” said Fletcher. “He never seemed in a rush and a trip up the A1 to Yorkshire could see us pull over half a dozen times.”

At the time, Essex were a poor club run on a skeleton staff.

Strictly, Bailey was an amateur but his job as secretary of Essex meant he was better paid than the professionals at the club.

“Mind you, he was a better cricketer than the pros and someone instrumental in taking Essex County Cricket Club into the modern era,” said Fletcher.

“He was cricket and Essex, through and through.”

Masters of the microphone

Brian Johnston: A PG Wodehouse character brought to life, Johnston gave Test Match Special its funny bone. He was a notorious practical joker whose infectious giggle helped create the famous “leg over” moment.

John Arlott: A poet and a bon viveur, Arlott had a great mastery of language and a distinctive Hampshire burr. Has there ever been another commentator, in any sport, with such vivid powers of description?

Bill Frindall: Known as “Bearders”, Frindall was more than just a scorer; he virtually invented the modern discipline of the cricket statistician. Loved to butt in with a schoolmasterly correction when a commentator – especially Henry Blofeld - made an error.

Henry Blofeld: After his cricket career was cut short – the result of a near-fatal collision between his bicycle and a bus - Blofeld’s eccentric, plummy-voiced commentary turned him into a cult figure. Favourite hobby: winding up Bill Frindall.

Fred Trueman: Best known for his catchphrase, “I don’t know what’s going off out there”, Trueman played up to his image as a superannuated grouch. He particularly enjoyed pointing out how things had been done better in his day.

The ashes of 2010: sorry for the Australian after their blows against England in Adelaide

Which means, in the first and perhaps only appearance in the wide Green called level club cannon fodder?

Damage to writing poetry Simon Katich, thin and wan, limping dark side ring Adelaide and play in its future while in crossing agony of test.

And damage even Ricky Ponting, a really great player and a great man, with the bowels team to conquer all once.

Captured by Sky repeatedly attempting to the sky in idle desperation, stubbled, seems destined to be remembered that only the second Australian to lose three series of ash master.

He wanders or is pushed, it will probably be losing her job too.

And then there was Michael Clarke tweet before playing the last day in Adelaide.

"Come on boys." Northy and Huss continues to be the day of their lives today. We can do. Get behind us Aussie... we do this. »

Almost English in blissful optimism. And pathos in his lack of respect. Do you not feel a slight thaw your heart?

This is the first time the Australia lost by a handle on the ground home since January 1993.

The first time since 1986 that England have won a match Australia test which questions in fact, when the ashes have already been decided.

They celebrated the time by Elton John in the Jacuzzi team. Perhaps it is at this moment, chartering a plane through the timezones.

As a nation, there is nothing we love more are good. For these years cricket English sterile, when we were regularly face on the bottom of the world continued coverage of the coverage of the constant humiliation.

Why, the how, the murder of character. pages things be digested and appreciated.

Nestled in our beds, we listen in MSD, Crackle and little reliable in the days before the digital radio, a painful day comment in the relentless heat. And then another painful day in the relentless heat.

However, he continues: since we lost the bid to Russia, endless self-examination even, today tweeted, blog and texted and World Cup football. To do this, we are champions recognized worldwide.

But how triumphalism sitting with the English character? English rugby union side that won the 2003 World Cup? They have won Six Nations since then.

Then there was the victory of the ashes of England 2005 who spewed out raccompagné open-top bus, a circus of victory at Trafalgar Square, Downing Street, receptions of the television coverage Japan, Andrew Flintoff burn tops off cold bottles of beer with its teeth, Hello! spreads, a Government's healthy eating campaign, contract contracts mode, spoke one Christmas.

And then the loss in Pakistan directly thereafter and humiliation of 5-0 that Australia on tour which collapsed 18 months later.

The English side seems more phlegmatic. Feet Andrew Strauss are not so fixed on the ground as welded in frozen ground.

They are no better than the side that won in 2005, in fact, they are probably less tape-à-l'œil, less bling, but they do not have an earthiness to them.

Given that the ashes are gaining 2009, things were instrumental below. Team Director Andy Flower has seen enough world to know that a game of cricket is exactly that.

But Australians? They have lost too, last week at the Qatar. And now this. There is concern for self-esteem.

They have twice since 2005 had put in with England, ashes, but in both cases was the victory a rout.

This time, it may be. If England to win the next test in Perth, they will retain the ashes before Christmas. Preposterous, but possible.

Can do with pity? Don't forget that it as emotion probably just go with the flow and annoy an Australian.

The ashes of 2010: squad to face England Australia size suggests uncertainty of Ricky Ponting side

It was a disparity admitted by Ricky Ponting, Captain of the Australia, who was at the launch.

"At this time in England are a pretty installs side, there is no doubt about it," he said."I don't think they have made a change of the tour until présent.Mais I can't wait for the series starting next week and I know that the rest of the boys that named squad will be very excited too."

Despite this, the size of the party reveals the confusion that surrounds the shape and physical fitness.Selectors Australia used to be famous to be decisive and to know their minds.

Top of test cricket Australia descent (classified fifth below in England), has seen the interest in the fall of loin.Mais Australia cricket hope a combination of showbiz and ceremony will be remobilise the man in the street.

The ashes of 2010: Telegraph Roundtable with Geoffrey Boycott, Ian Chappell and Michael Vaughan, part 1

Michael Vaughan I think this second test, such as a rounded performance was so good that I've ever seen in England. I do not think that you can highlight an area where they can improve. I've never seen Australian hunt ball and look as if they were in pain, fumble the ball dropped the ball so often or dive on the ball so often. England were forced into a corner and react to what England position under pressure.

IC Also the Australians are not used to be on the ground for long periods without taking some ATMs. I want to say, Jesus, six for expenses! It is easy to be a right fielder when catches come along fairly regularly, but when you put a guy in five and 150 or 200 everyone remembers that. Beyond of the Australian side, if you dropped a capture you knew would come on 10 minutes later another chance.

GB I think that our selectors were also much better than Australian selectors - removal of two seamers Brisbane and dropping, then two more and the same thing with the spinner. They should have kept that they had been put in place for the ashes with [Nathan Hauritz]. Our selectors were very clear and very targeted. They asked ex-acteurs - I don't know, talking about Michael and myself, then they disappeared and composed their own spirit. James Whitaker is very well-known, it is never a test match, it goes and monitors all counties. They probably did a bad selection in the past two years - lad that they picked at Headingley.

MV Darren Pattinson.

GB And they advocate that. Dusty Miller always puts his hand and said, ' you're right, Fiery (GB), I've made a mistake and does not have to go and watch it myself, it won't again happen '. If they defend the indefensible, but they have well otherwise.

CI The Australian pickers were before errors, but two guys named Warne and McGrath cover for them.

SB Was not it poor planning do Greg Chappell [IC's brother, who was appointed a selector] just before the series? Who does destabilize the whole implementation?

IC In addition, you are better to have a good as an ordinary selector. [General laughter].

MV even in the 1990s, that I think we never arrived at a series of ash and thrown in a pot that has never played cricket test match. I felt sorry for the kid [Xavier Doherty]. It is lobait is to get rid of Kevin Pietersen is absolute madness.

GB You cannot choose a bowler just to get rid of a player who is barmy. I see Australia and in England as a reversal from four years ago. We had all sorts of problems - team unity, injuries, selection, loss of shape, all - and it turned around from right.

MV England are settled team, there is not a player looking over his shoulder. There are three or four Australian thinking "this could be my last match. So you don't feel part of the team, you do not know if you'll be here next week. You know you are there for some time because it gives you trust more to go outside and your game.

GB Take Alastair Cook. It is about forefoot - if it gets in the wrong place it looks like an ugly duckling, so they only worked with him and he looks out at this time.

SB Could I just return to the selection of Hauritz: it is not particularly bad omit a counter of the Australia took a quick left hander to create crude to Bowl in?

IC, I thought that Hauritz had start series because in 2009 in England, he overthrew quite Andrew Strauss and cook. I thought that Cook was going to be one of the problems of England in the series - which not has not proved to be the case. But if you have a bowler who can poorly Strauss, which is one of the really big guys for England, then I could play it.

MV we picked Ashley Giles because he could bat and OK on the ground and to make the team work. I think that is what the Australia obtained with Hauritz.

IC The other thing that they should have overlooked is its India form. England never went to play in the same way, using their feet and so forth.

GB I do not think it will hurt us too if we play Chris Tremlett Perth. If you plan well, things tend to go for you. When you get a bad, you always try to catch up with the error in the previous week, and it retains to go wrong.

MV England planning has been very good. We have all areas covered and ready made replacements. If I were the Australian, I play on a quick one-stop bouncing. If they play on the flat wickets, forget, it is the end of the series.

SB England were bounced out by a handle in January on a rapid in Johannesburg.

GB This is true, you need rhythm and rebound and Australians are more than we. There's still no guarantee that they win because of the way things are going, but at the present time, they need to win two of the three, so you can go for a damn like hang on a platter autour victory. If we continue to play as we are, we you [CI] bat just outside of the game.

MV will prepare window a leaders or cricket win the Australia window?

IC if an administrator has come an Australian curator and stated "we want that prepare you a certain type of pitch" conservative would tell him to get stuffed and go.

MV really? OH good.

GB What they play, the chances are that England will get a match draw or victory. There are too many cracks in the Australian model per minute.

MV need Ricky Ponting. Ponting has average in the next three games probably 70. It requires large series. I think that it plays in fact all rights, it is simply out.

IC the difference today is that Mike Hussey in virtually every sleeve had a lucky break and Ponting has not. If you are looking for a precedent, then Ponting mostly had to do what is Don Bradman in 1936-0

SB Make a double percent in all remaining tests?

The Australia were 2-0 down and won the three latter. Bradman have huge runs in each of these three, but then Bradman had too much of some launchers.

MV This is the best way he [Ponting] can lead his team. Forget tips shortly that it performs in the field – just go and get a double-cents.

The ashes of 2010: surprise pick Xavier Doherty determined to prove that it is better the Australia spinner

Surprise selection team, to the detriment of the Hauritz more highly fancied, Doherty ensures his debut in the wide green when the ashes get underway at the Gabba Thursday.

Whereas Hauritz was a performer solid spinner of first choice for Australians, Doherty has pushed to the top of the hierarchy, the strength of its form over 50 with the national side and some improved performance of four days for the Tigers.

Delighted because it can be to have been granted the opportunity to represent her country, Tasmania is not satisfied unless it can play its role of Ricky Ponting and a place of cement.

"I'm on the roof of the world at this time, I couldn't be happier."When I received the phone call this morning I couldn't believe vraiment.Je am delighted", said Doherty.

"I hope (I get a decent crack in it), but I guess which is in me YH ' today have the opportunity to have an impact and I think that I am in very good shape and can be done."

From "the ball in my back yard to an any impact and stamp my authority on the place of the spinner."

Doherty has long been on the radar for the national selection Committee in the shortened formats of the game, but, until recently, its chances of higher with the red ball honors were considered non-existent.

Battling with Jason Krejza to the spinner first class # 1 in his State in recent years, Doherty seeks to turn the spotlight on its form.

"I averaged 48 (in the Sheffield shield), which is not pretty, but I think that this average is perhaps more than 35 games and my first 25 games I averaged 60 or something."

"I've not picked on my form on the last 35 games, I have chosen for my form in the last eight or nine.

Although few doubted his ability to immobilize an end and prove an economic option for its skipper of test, the challenge for Doherty prove its ability to capture window.

Confident in its form, Tasmania 27 years stated that he was ready to play a role and admitted he was encouraged by success of Stephen O'Keefe against England's week.

"There will be times where my job will be to organize an end and let the rapids range from another, and there will be times when I need to attack and take the wickets, I need," he said.

"Even in the last two weeks of Tasmania I played both roles, so I think that I can take in everything what is asked of me."

The ashes of 2010: Steven Finn expects bore Australian drummers to submit

The Ashes 2010: Steve Finn encouraged to bore Australian batsmen into submissionLine and length: rookie fast bowler England Steve Finn has worked hard on its consistency photo: GETTY IMAGES

But Finnish does not correspond to the stereotype as easily as some, which could be the reason for which it envisages boring instead of beaters gasping for air during the ashes.

A led bowler, measuring 6 feet today in his socks, Finn is a spectacle for any drummer when it closes at 22 yards with a ball in the main.Pourtant, his idols are Glenn McGrath and Angus Fraser, a couple who was hardly express rate. What they have in common was a determination would not concede tracks out of their own game of bowling.

"I had a good few conversations at lunch with"Gus"before I came here and the piece of advice he gave me bore out mixers," said Finnish. "Consistency is essential and it has encouraged me to be boring and it is something that I want to be.

Finn is 21 and still raw, but is there a danger, it is sensible before his time? The England teams have sent young fast bowling as Bob Willis, Graham Dilley and Phil DeFreitas Australia before, with mixed success, but are - not right that they should be relieved of responsibility and said simply Bowl as quickly as possible?

Perhaps professionalism increased the game these days means that look more mature representations fully formed of young players, but the line and length certainly isn't to asses the loader.

This may seem conclusive, but there are many facets to be a player quick success. Finn watching the net by Wednesday, it was not immediately obvious why he was ahead of Chris Tremlett, another giant, dans l'ordre hiérarchique.Alors Tremlett Andrew Strauss ducking and diving, Finn struggled with his pace to settle in a bowl out decent against Ian Bell.

In terms of a talent for rhythm, Finn Tremlett and Steve Harmison behind, though can accelerate that reinforce its tendons.Mais so fast bowling is how the hearts and minds reacts when the situation gets tough, as Australia. These features will be the most important.

Fortunately, Finn has both in depth. In fact it is because of them that, by his own admission, he said it is uncertain whether it is ready for a series of ash.

"I don't know what it takes to play in a series of ash and realistic, I later the player that I need to be regularly find success international cricket, said Finn."A team, we have prepared marvelously well but I approach with a young naive I think me will comply in good place.I am going to adopt to deal each game that I have done in the past and see where it takes me. »

If this appears to be jaded, simply rewind life Finn when last England tour here and have been bleached 5-0, to see what a strange form of form events contributed to lui.Finn was at school preparations for his A-levels in four years ago and while he admits that disrupted series revision, he did well enough to win a place at Loughborough, a place he was 24 hours take place when he decided to defy his mom and play professional cricket instead of this.

"I had a place to read sports science, was a further course but cancelled day to play cricket, said Finn."MOM wanted me to go to the University because it is not clear whether could even become a successful county cricket player then, as I was 18 years old.But the father was like "do you want".but they did not put pressure on me and has left me the decision.»

You must be a curmudgeon or an educator to say that it was not the personne.Finn enjoys a good, free from injury started his career in England with 32 ATMs in eight essais.Mais if this tally has been strengthened by bowling against bad sides frappeurs seamer conditions print, there are a reality in Perth last weekend against the Warriors Retravision.Un start diverting there were the Australian media and the wags into the crowd giving a stick although it improved by the game of bowling with rhythm and purpose in the second round.

His studies of ash continues with the current game against West End Redbacks at Adelaide, but no grant may be made to learning curves in testing if, as seems likely, England opt for four men bowling attack.

"I cannot offer to move to three-and-a-half to four tracks one as that nui to me and the team", said Finnish. "It is important that I'm consistent is something that I have worked hard on becoming stronger in the last three or four weeks.»

Finn efforts may be ever doubted, there is always a risk-reward equation when pitching young launchers rhythm in a series of cendres.Si they bomb, they can find in darkness .the paper which is so well, it typically sets their for a successful career, something England all fans hope hit Finn, if he holes or not.

The ashes of 2010: Surrey Chris Adams back "wimp" Chris Tremlett to raw in Australia Manager

Owzat: Surrey fast bowler Chris Tremlett is within the framework of replacing large injured Chris photo: AP

Chris Adams, Manager of Surrey, said Tremlett should not be underestimated because it is not the type shouting of beaters faces. And if the fast player is chosen to replace Stuart Broad third test in Perth, next week, Adams is backup succeed him.

"It can be a horrible to cope, so horrific that any bowler person I met in my career," said Adams.

"You do not have to be a kind of conventions, fasty, shouty, to top-and-for-character to make life very unpleasant for the opposition." I rather take its type on someone comes and shouts and screams for everyone. »

Shane Warne spoke about his frustration while captaining Tremlett in New Hampshire, describing as a "wimp".

Move Tremlett in Surrey and the share of Adams helped give him to put in place in England. It now has the chance to play its first test in three years, if it is chosen in advance of launchers Tim Bresnan and Ajmal Shahzad colleagues.

"Bresnan overthrew well and add depth order batsman and Frédéric is a fantastic talent, but for this particular test I would seek not beyond to come" Adams said.

"The Waca extracts more rhythm and rebound that most of the land and I know that why the selectors Chris in mind when they chose the squad." It has attributes to get lots of machines on this type of pitch. »

Tremlett already impressed the antipodes, seven for taking the game to England 121 against Australia Tasmania, three weeks ago.

Adams believes Tremlett, who took 48 wickets first-class Surrey last season, will have no problem dealing with psychological pressure that being thrown into a series of ash might bring.

"It performance obtained much warm-up set people talking about Chris Tremlett once again, and it is great," said Adams.

"I was surprised of its performance in this match." Chris has put in place for a long time this kind of form.

"He looked in good nick." He overthrew like throughout the year and he was always ready to come right if injury happened next. It is gold dust. »

The ashes of 2010: Telegraph Roundtable with Geoffrey Boycott, Ian Chappell and Michael Vaughan. Part 2

MV: MMM, Graeme Swann.

IC: A very good spinner.

SB [at Chappell]: A Australian preparation for this series - is a India tour, - the right way? Or should they played several Sheffield shield games after a long pause?

IC: Game of cricket is not a bad way to prepare to play cricket. It is only considered perfect because they are laminated.

SB: Is there a feeling here that players play too to be at their peak? Mitchell Johnson reversed far balls over the year last international cricket.

Geoffrey Boycott: Scyld, it is not very good bowling. If a guy at this level cannot Bowl the ball somewhere on a bloody length should get another job, simple as that.

IC: Added to the problems of Johnson, England it worked. What England have said is, ' If you want to throw out there [i.e. external strain offshore], spend your life, we do sums not come until that prove you that you can swing a bullet in '. And they are waiting until he bowls almost one launch full and boom, they him Ranger.

MV: In 2002 - 2003 we arrived here, and there was a great debate about the preparations.Get straight facts - we were just not as good as the Australia, and I think that this team of England is a better team, 20 per cent more than the Australia.

IC: I think that we probably just did not feel that how much better they were. Most people thought they were a little better and now are beginning to see that it is more than slightly.

GB: Australians are not played very well, it is as simple as that. It is human nature. They target a few players too obtained with dips and we have ups and downs.

IC: Shane Warne can add another to her list of things that are over rated. I tell you what: planning is over rated. This is how you play. You can talk as much as you like before the match, but that's what you do outside of the medium which is important.

SB: Is Australian rules siphoning off the coast of the young elite here sports that have played cricket?

IC: I think that this is a problem in three States, especially in Victoria and Australia-Western and South Australia also. Aussie Rules clubs offer youth 16 and 17-year contracts and thus get more athletes from first choice. I think it's ridiculous for say a kid at 15 or 16 to choose between sport and another bloody.

SB: Predictions for the rest of this series, please, gentlemen?

GB: Win in England. If I were Ricky Ponting, I would be able to sleep at night. He had to win two of the three. I think England would bat very wrong, very wrong.

MV: England 2-0.

IC: OH, England win. I would almost go far as to say the willingness of England - there.

SB: Is the standard first class cricket to Australia abnormally low?

IC: I think that we are in a bit of a hollow and spin bowling is certainly a lower, as real when we were poor in the mid-1980s. Young stick is not bad, young fast bowling is probably one of the best, but three guys you have probably been to Perth - Josh Hazlewood, Mitchell Starc and James Pattinson - are all wounded. They are too busy to pick up weight in gym instead of balls.

MV: I agree that launchers get fit by bowling, but doing fitness as a team creates unity and a link. If you align the Australians against the English team, I think we expect a fitter, stronger team, which is great in terms of body language. I just traced to the Australian game in Hobart [when England won by a handle]. I've shifted by the performance of their side A he. In 2002 - 3 have been given us really a good game in a test match by their side A. If you place one side of A Britain now is a strong team. It is always the strength of a nation - can put you a different competitive XI? England can, but I do not think that the Australia can.

SB: England can become champions worldwide test?

MV: Yes. The first time, I therefore thought never. In the 1980s, it was difficult to get past the West Indies. In the 1990s, it was difficult to get the past Warne and McGrath. Indians are good, but I think that in England, can beat by Graeme Swann, is the key to everything.

GB: I've seen some of these games children performance and they are quite good, and they want a place of England very shortly, those top therefore keep, which is what you want.

IC: When the India No. 1, I said that I see them as # 1 in the long term. Have you seen not only their fast bowling but their spin bowling game? When South Africa beat Australia here, I thought that "the crowd will be # 1", but they were very inconsistent.

MV: They do not have a counter.

IC: They do not have a few other things either. I think that they will win regularly until Graeme Smith is the captain. For me, it is more to win and England could easily be no. 1. But the most important question is: can remain # 1 for some time and keep on improving?

The ashes of 2010: the astonishing rise of Australia spinner Michael Beer surprises even teammates club

Same Ricky Ponting and Tim Nielsen, the coach of the Australia admitted never seen Bowl in person.

On the scene Club in Victoria, beer was considered the best counter for a number of years but still his former colleagues are surprised by the speed of its altitude.

"This is an incredible story," David Johnstone, Director of coaching club said Telegraph Sport.

"It is passed the cricket club at the end of last season, and the shield cricket selection for the Australia now." It is very stimulating for the club.

"I had never thought about him playing for the front Australia but always saw in it the potential to play cricket first class."

"I saw that long ago, but the opportunity has never his way until he moved to Perth."

Johnstone has overseen a young brand of Warne a similar journey.

If it is chosen for the Australia this week Beer makes its debut test after having played only four games of Sheffield shield. Warne played a less when he made his test debut against India in 1992.

The difference between the two is that Warne was chosen for Victoria, while beer was considered only good enough for the second team in his home State and had to transfer to Australia for her luck in the process to give up a job with Puma and a degree in sports science.

"He gave hope to all players cricket club and it is very important," said Johnstone.

"There are two ways to get through." The system of the Academy and the club.

"The club as Beery cricketers have persevered and worked hard for a chance." He has never abandoned.

"It was the best spinner cricket club in Victoria for a few years and I am sure that he could have done step up to the State cricket has a few years ago but never had a chance."

"I am certain that he had much to learn." He played three or four games in first class, but I looked a little test cricket and I do too much better left arm Orthodox world cricket tops that are better. »

Beer debuts first class for the Australia in Melbourne and at halfway through the match against Victoria, it appeared at the oval junction, which is a waterfront of St. Kilda, short tram journey to mingle with his former teammates.

"It is a cricket experimented with a few years under his belt and is a level head guy."

"It will be nervous but I do not think that he will be impressed," said Johnstone.

"He is confident in its own capacity. He took many wickets at the club level and has shown that it can strengthen already. »

Beer CITES Warne as an influence and will look to the cat to his former partner of St Kilda prior to the examination of the third.

"It is always with ensure you to that you attack and try to make them", Beer told the age.

"His way of thinking was to try them out and that is quite similar to me."

They breed their players to be difficult to St Kilda and beer enjoys a reputation as a sharp on the ground.

He gave Kevin Pietersen a scathing when sending England played Australia at the beginning of their tour and Johnstone said that he will not change if it is chosen by the Australia this week. "It is spirit a cat", he said.

In St Kilda, they hope that Beer will play in the fourth test at the CWM.

If the series is still alive after Perth, Australia Cricket will be sure to attract a crowd nearly 90,000 the boxing day and beer would add local interest to persuade the others through the turnstiles.

That would really fulfill tale fairy.

The ashes of 2010: the second string of England skittle Australia for 230 A

First choice test attack England James Anderson, Stuart Broad and Steve Finn left Hobart airport and flight to Brisbane teatime first final warm-up day England before the ashes. They left three seamers manoeuvres to be the first cabin to the rank of replacements - possibly as early as the second test in Adelaide.

England, three booking fast, Frédéric Ajmal - that was three for 57 as the Australia A reversed for 230 - was - so much so that he could obtain standing to this party randonnée.Chris Tremlett (four for 54) 17th place and Tim Bresnan, (two for 65) were great in their opening - Tremlett steep rebound more - but as far as the game periods while fatigue and pitch desiccated Frédéric maintained its vim.

Frédéric was also overwhelmed task of nine first overs bowling in the wind - a vehement wind too, worthy of the New Zealand. And England were reversed on Australia less than 230 if Ian Bell to mid off A fell not a chance fast but directly affected him, to broad Frédéric bowling by Stephen O'Keefe, which top-friskily for hosts.

Reached England 22 for 1 at the end, after losing Andrew Strauss for personal 10.Déception however, Captain must have been relaxed in part by the strength of the active bowling at its disposal.

Autour side together is the Australia, drummers struggled yesterday in wetter summer for at least a decade, including all test batsman who played. The failure of the most important was by Mike Hussey, who made a long duck, ironically captured by his younger brother David: elder Hussey is one whose neck is closest to the block.

But none of the drummers of the Australia specialist A excelled. The conditions were strongly in favour of the pace of bowling at the

first .the tone of Bellerive is made up of ryegrass and many of her enlisting.8, none of the young people really put in a helping hand - except perhaps Usman Khawaja, expecting the best organized of the bunch.

The most promising stick was done by Tim Paine and Steve Smith and only partly because conditions eased after lunch.Paine is a high calibre cricket player in manufacture, drummer and guardian, and England will be happy that it is only the reserve Brad Haddin, which scores more quickly, but with a lesser defence.

Smith behaves quirkily but looks as if he could soon be a better bat at six northern Marcus titulaires.Il will be interesting to see the impact of Greg Chappell as a new Australian selector: he wants the young players but is a series of ash time their blood, or should it have been done before?

Another pleasant surprise for England except Frédéric sustained accuracy and movement, has been fielding Monty Panesar Newfoundland.

No laughing matter now: he dived to his right and caught a capture to reject Ed Cowan off hand pulling and put into service on the whole as it has never been to England avant.Il is only a few inches of a brilliant output.

England slump a bit in the afternoon, a single window and session recalling how they might labour to the counters where the ball is vieux.Mais is the attack on the reserve and their first release tour.

First choice left for the airport England attack, they know that they could not take their places for granted.

The ashes of 2010: three issues in England and Australia must meet before the Melbourne test

1. They promote Ian Bell at five and six drop Paul Collingwood?
Bell has been in the form of fine tour all and was executed partners while tests that Collingwood examined scratchy. But when his past struggles seemed marginal Collingwood has left major performances. Can it be once more?

2A was poor Steve Finn bowling event of third parties as a result of fatigue or inability to control the Waca?
Finn reversed evil in Perth in the game of the tour, it may be that he was unable to cope with the conditions. But, if it is ploughing of fatigue, and then fresh legs must come. Keep off the coast of the port of Christmas, Tim Bresnan.

3. Who will play Santa Claus?
Graeme Swann was the natural choice but Huw Bevan, coach fitness, generation and resistance to wear all the gifts in his bag. On the other hand, Andrew Strauss has the most vocal projection "Yo Ho Ho," perhaps it is appropriate to him.

1 1 Are are - they need a counter for Melbourne?
They will be in the consideration of fifth in Sydney, so it would be advisable to give a spinner a test at the CWM. But first things first and Ricky Ponting has chosen four quick launch because it believed that they offer more options to 20 ATM only if one of them has been left in a meter of finger. It is unlikely to change unless conditions ask really.

2 That they stop luge?
The Australian cricketers are masters at tobogganing and while England tried to give as good as they got to the Waca, they were distracted by it. But Australians ramp up to face a host of 90 000 at the CWM or soften the tone? This is the question.

3 3 East is - what they can prevent stagnation that tends to follow more euphoric events as a victory for test?
They have failed to do so after winning at Headingley last year, while England fell short of Perth after their triumph in Adelaide and made in South Africa last winter after victory in Durban.

Winning modern tests seems to take more players than previously, but the fact that it took Australia only a shade over three days in Perth can provide the break, they are looking for.

The ashes of 2010: the secret of the success of Andy Flower as coach of England is the ability to listen and learn

Would like I say, there is no surprise. It is a remarkable story. All the most remarkable in its first hearing in Caribbean England test was ousted for 51. It was a total humiliation. It would have broken the lesser men.

The flower is used to grow average .in adversity more than 50 for a middling side Zimbabwe had seen that.

If the next morning he confronted the musical side of the swimming pool at the Hilton in Kingston, Jamaica, and frankly, it is brilliant.

Hugh Morris, England and Wales Cricket Board country CEO, was listening to the background.I believe that Flower obtained permanent employment in the morning.

Subsequently, a writer describes as "disarmament" how lucid and was honest flower.Flower shirk or équivoque.Et with maturity, he gave players a day at the coast.

They are then in Antigua, where he immediately heads a team meeting. He was apparently dashing and players franc.Les even those such as Kevin Pietersen, who have been him tarring again with the brush of the regime failed to Peter Moores, were impressed.

Ian Bell has been abandoned, but to see training as a boxer - always running fiercely at dawn - for the rest of the tour was proof enough that a message has been given and, more important still, heard.

How the flower has always been at the registry. As a player, he was a jet trainer assidue.Je know by experience.

In the beginning of the nineties, I spent a few winters play and coaching in the Zimbabwe.

Myself, flowers and obsessive brother, Grant, have become partners in their national teammate Malcolm Jarvis in central Harare b.c gym training ' is a revelation. These part-time Zimbabweans were clearly fitter than any player cricket County, I had met.

And lay a crucial point. I asked flowers once his greatest influences of cricket and it presented a list of names of cricket Zimbabwe offshore: John Traicos, Dave Houghton, Jarvis, Andy Waller and Andy Pycroft.

But it was not only their cricket impressed .c ' is the balance between their personal lives.

They were able to be professional work and sport, as well as find time for their families and have fun too. ""I thought that balance, what they found was unbelievable", he said. "They taught me about the disciplines that you need to succeed in sport and life. »

In other words they weren't professional athletes verges without any wider experience of the world.Wondered why England went Belgium and Germany recently?

High strength flower in my opinion is willing to listen and learn.

He speaks to a multitude of people in the game, always ask questions, always seeking what he calls a "Nugget" information or knowledge.Which has always been its mine.

It is easy to forget that someone like him could not watch television as a young cricket.

Indeed, the only sport that he saw on television in the Zimbabwe was a round-up of action of the world in a program called Transworld Sport.

It was broadcast every Thursday soir.Et Thursday evening I somehow wangle would be an invitation for food in the household of flowers in Mount Pleasant, Harare.

We looked about five seconds of a cricket element, and then begin a serious discussion of cricket.

Any conversation with the flowers, "Wild Bill" that even his son happily call this coach of some repute, schoolboy father is always lively and informative.

Technical knowledge has been incredible.Surprisingly, said Andy always turns to his brother for advice.

Neither has been abundantly gifted technically, but instead worked hard to expand the boundaries and pest management.Generally, these players as the best coaches.

In 1991 I sat with flowers (E) on the ground of the South of Harare, Mashonaland country districts watch Graeme Hick for Worcestershire bat against.

Hicks was facing a few bullets of the flower has become very animé.Il noticed Hicks had changed a closed face bat in his pickup.

Hicks had wintered with Queensland. ""They love in Australia for their land bouncier," flower commenté.La sharpness and speed observation is striking.

There was a brief flirtation with the accounting, but the flowers was always going to coach.

Indeed he worked as working in schools with high density, before he was paid to play the cricket.Et as a succession of coaches came to help the national face Zimbabwe - John Hampshire, Barry Dudleston, Carl Rackemann and Geoff Marsh to name a few - so Flower improved her knowledge.

His greatest influences such as coach, while? Moores.

So far, flowers is deeply regrettable the imbroglio Moores work with England .but as team manager Flower now never allow such a situation to développer.Il is a difficult cookie.

Citing his black Brassard with Henry Olonga protest Cup World 2003 as evidence of his bravery has almost become a cliché.

But it wasn't his bravoure.Braves Act was again to return to the Zimbabwe after had put an end to tournament of its South Africa sides.

Everyone, family security experts advised not to do. "That could they [Robert Mugabe men] make me?"he asked me at the time," Kill me? "."Well, Yes.

As already said Flower: there is nothing to fear in Australie.Et he knows whereof he speaks.

The ashes of 2010: Tim Bresnan canning preparations of England in perfect shape

"It will be a team effort to win ashes, but it is quite an important job because just in the background," Bresnan said. "You give energy to the guys on the ground, something me what to do really well."

"Support could be as simple as having a smile on my face or butt of jokes chacun.Il is no point to have a good tourist but if they give them and I would probably have some."

With the Sun and wind, height of drying here in the Bellerive, oval conditions Ian Bell took full advantage of posting a monolithic 192, bowling was much more difficult and Bresnan was the removal of both sides.

Knock Bell certainly put a dent in team bowling figures but routinely threatened Bresnan once that he had found his groove and a hint of swing opposite the end of the street of the Church.

David Saker, England bowling coach says that Bresnan is the strongest Member of the England squad, but needed more power just physical pull what whatsoever of this mild surface.

Monty Panesar had some footholes to probe but Bresnan had little to work with except sweat, arrow and Polish.

After that he came on the second change, his first window had a suspicion of chance as Ed Cowan, one of the two left-handed openers, dragged pulling shot on its stem.

There was nothing lucky on his next one later shot Usman Khawaja canceled by its freshness to the fold by an ounce of movement both more far off the coast of sewing.

Callum Ferguson, alongside Khawaja in Australia for the first test, maintained ball cap, but no 17-man squad had no response to that Bresnan got to squat on him of any short length overs a few more later.

Incompatible rebound can black beast be a drummer, but the launchers must always be on target to take advantage.

Other launchers England had their moments.Panesar even had Phillip Hughes, who finished unbeaten 58, fell by Paul Collingwood to slip when 32.

Earlier and the second game in succession, Collingwood failed to reach three characters when feat considered certain bounced back on by Clint McKay to 89.But while this is not a great concern at this stage, passing his fifth catch in three matches.

Powered by Bell, fine effort England the first great first round continues tour near-perfect preparation team for the test next week.

Yet, there are signs that some of the actors of the Australia began to find the form too, with seat under Michael Hussey marking his first cent for nine months in Sheffield shield Western Australia match against Victoria.

Hussey, which is just two centuries in 51 test sleeves, was not alone in feu.Mitchell Johnson, humiliated after Bowling 11 wides for his side club in Perth the previous week, followed hundreds against Victoria with five wickets, a feat emulated by Shane Watson of New South Wales nail-Stitchers defeat in Tasmania in Sydney.

Difference between the two teams could not last forever, inducing the joy he has été.Mais a handful of Australian making and taking the wickets does not mark team and there are still many things mark on the side House, not less the shape of Captain Ricky Ponting and its connection compulsive.

In England, meanwhile, have been applying the final polishing, at least in their to bâton.Bell stating its willingness to make a large hundreds after reaching three digits by close to Eve, put his words in actes.Son 240 with Collingwood partnership is the kind who decides to test matches.

As the previous two first-class matches rule in Bellerive oval provided what is perhaps best described as binary Hobart trail account fails in Australia, England that spans nearly 25 years, this team have deliberately avoided looking passé.Tout also too, especially for Bell.

On the circuit in 1998-99, Michael Atherton is a double hundreds here and bags test has suivi.Quatre years later Rob Key pair 187 and has subsequently scuttled a in each round of testing.

Yorkshire's Adil Rashid has Worcester's batsmen in a terrible spin

Adil Rashid's brilliance brought him a career-best 11 for 114 to send Worcestershire crashing to a three-day defeat in a sobering reintroduction to First Division cricket.

Rashid completed the first 10-wicket match haul of his career to trigger a spectacular collapse in which Worcestershire surrendered their last seven wickets in 12 overs.

The leg-spinner conceded 27 in his first three overs when Worcester decided that attack was the best method to counter his threat on a dry pitch. But they were quickly reduced to strokeless wrecks as Rashid then took five for 10 in 40 balls, the last three wickets without cost in just eight deliveries.

"He bowled superbly. It's quite uncanny for a leg-spinner to be taking 11 wickets in the second week of April," said Yorkshire captain Andrew Gale. "I thought he bowled outstandingly well. The pitch didn't offer a lot first dig, but the second innings it was turning and he took advantage of that."

Worcester's collapse was as spectacular as the one that cost Yorkshire the title on the last day of last season and suggested that the bookmakers have got it right by making them odds-on favourites for relegation.

Worcestershire have never managed to stay in the top flight for more than a season and have now won only one of their last 38 matches in this division. With no top quality spinner until Shakib Al Hasan, then Saeed Ajmal, arrive in midseason, they may struggle to improve on that.

They were competitive for most of the first two days but an eighth-wicket stand of 149 in 55 overs between Gerard Brophy and Ryan Sidebottom sapped their spirit and tested the stamina of veteran seamers Alan Richardson, Damien Wright and Matt Mason.

Brophy's unbeaten 177 was chanceless and he might have surpassed his previous first-class best of 185 had he not run out of partners. He scored all the runs in a last-wicket stand of 43 with Moin Ashraf before his young partner was pinned LBW.

Sidebottom's solid 61 was his career best and he followed up with the wickets of James Cameron and Vikram Solanki as Worcestershire lost three wickets in clearing their first-innings arrears.

Moeen Ali greeted Rashid's introduction into the attack by shovelling him for a six over the short cathedral boundary and Alexei Kervezee straight drove him for another.

But the innings imploded after Moeen was well taken by Adam Lyth, running from slip to leg slip, when he tried to paddle the leg spinner.

The rest came quietly as Rashid made impressive use on his googly on a turning pitch to leave Yorkshire with a modest victory target.

"I didn't think there were any demons in the pitch, it was a patience pitch," Gale said. "Whoever won the battle of patience, won the game. I always knew that their top four held the key. If they didn't contribute we could get into them."
