
A senior official from PCB said the contracts have been suspended from International Cricket Council (ICC) code to fight against corruption.

"Their contracts were active until the hearing of the appeal, but that their initial appeals were rejected by the ICC code we cannot keep on contracts", said the PCB Zakir Khan.
Legal Adviser of PCB Tafazzul Rizvi said that contracts have been suspended because players were not eligible to play in Pakistan.
"We give contracts for players who can play for Pakistan until their cases are decided... they failed to get all the benefits of the Commission in terms of contracts", he said.
PCB pays a monthly salary of approximately 250 000 rupees ($ 3,000) players in the top rank, which included the trio in suspension.Rizvi said that Board had ceased to pay test Captain Butt beat Amir and Asif launchers.
